And Services

We believe in the life-saving power of vaccines. For kids big and small, our office follows the vaccine schedule outlined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). We try to keep patients as close to this schedule as possible. If you would like to discuss a personalized vaccine schedule we ask that you develop a contract with us on the initial visit and can discuss this in more detail at that time.

Our goal is to not overly rely on antibiotics, but empower everyone in the family with the do’s and don’ts of their use. You won’t see our team default to overprescribing for the little things, like tummy aches and tingling ears, but only when it is the best way to fix, with evidence backing our professional medical recommendations.

Dr. Sissa and her team work closely with multiple health experts from different fields and will make appropriate referrals when deemed necessary. We trust this village of health care specialists to take care of our village of patients and will ensure timely referrals are made on your behalf.

Maeville’s technology is growing and changing all the time. Our commitment to technology specifically applies to the way we handle medical records and some correspondence with your medical team, which are largely done electronically. You will fill out ‘new patient’ paperwork on a HIPAA compliant platform. This saves time and allows you to spend more time with the doctor. Also, you will be assigned a ‘patient portal’ when you join the practice, and will be able to access vaccine records, labs, parent handouts and back to school notes from this platform.

Our office is open Monday through Friday 8:30 am until 5:00 pm and urgent appointments on Saturday mornings.

Maeville is a community of people working around the clock to make sure all of our patients are taken care of. If you’re in need of medical assistance due to sudden illness, Maeville offers a handful of walk-in appointments that are first-come first-serve, with the goal of making sure no one has to wait too long. To help us achieve this goal, please call us within office hours to ensure we have a spot for an urgent appointment. We ask that all patients arrive early for their appointments and we may need to cancel your appointment if you are over 15 minutes late. .

Visiting Maeville? You’ll get an electronic reminder prior to your scheduled visit, ensuring you know the date and time of your appointment.

We know the frustrations of long wait times at the doctor. We promise to do our best to respect your time and make your visit to Maeville as efficient as possible. To help us, please plan to arrive at least 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment tim. If you are overly late for your appointment, at least 20 minutes or more, your appointment may be canceled.  Please call us if you are running late or need to reschedule.

We request 24 hours notice before cancellation of an appointment. All missed or improperly canceled appointments are subject to a fee. Repeated missed appointments may result in a discharge from the practice.
